Outline of Humanities College She was established in 2002 and she grew out of the Dept. of Humane Studies. At present, the total number of full-time students has reached nearly 600. Professor Li Minghua , the president of Humanities College, concentrates on studies of the Mountainous Sociology and has released 3 monographs ,such as An Introduction to Mountainous Sociology etc. Shao Huaze , the chairman of National Journalist's Association has been appointed to the honorary president of Humanities College . Professor Wan bing , the president of Zhe Jiang Academy of Social Sciences holds a concurrent post as discipline leader in Philosophy . Xu Youguo , Justice of the Fourth Rank in the Higher People's Court of Zhe Jiang Province, holds a concurrent post as discipline leader in Law. Among over 40 faculty , there are 11 full professors, vice- professors and 12 lecturers. The full-time teachers，who has won Master degrees make up of 67 percent of the total teachers in Humanities College . In the part few years, Humanities College has taken charge of more than 30 items of national , provincial and cooperating scientific search,participated in more than 10 scientific research tasks, released more than 100 research papers and 3 monographs. Humanities College has also published 3 books of teaching materials by editors in chief and more than 10 books by associate editors. There are more than 10 items of research achievements gained, including one for Second -Class Provincial Awards for Scientific and Technological Progress , three for the Second- Class and the Three- Class Provincial Awards for Social Science Achievement, and six for science and technology services. Some research institutes or centers have been established for Mountainous Sociology , Environment Law, the Culture of the Kingdom of Wu and Yue, Deng Xiaopin Theories. It highlights brightness on the study of Environment Sociology , Environment Law, Travel Advertisement etc .and Environmental Law has already been regarded as one of university's key subjects. Now , research on the basic theory of Environment Law ,the theory and practice of Environment Law and the implementation system of Environment Law by Sociology are being carried out. Humanities College always pays more attention to the administration of teaching and learning.8 courses including An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought , Jurisprudence and Propagate have been assessed as first -class courses in the university .The monitor system of the standards of the teaching and learning is established ,which is on the basis of educational inspector ,demonstration lecture and the investigation of school teaching .The module of practice teaching of Thought and Politics Education and Marxism Theories won the first -class reward for excellent teaching achievements in the university. The college’s datum room has the mineral resources of 20,000 books , more than 200 magazines (including Xin Hua Monthly Magazine has been subscribed for more than 40 years ) and nearly 100 Video tapes etc .Humanities College is also equipped with one Simulated Court ,one laboratory for plane advertisement and six teaching practice bases in Hangzhou ,Shaoxing ,Lishui city. Held these traditional projects including Humanism Forum，Simulated Court ,English Lecture and thesis report meetings is in order to improve students' synthetic abilities ; Founded Law Review and the Newspaper of Introduction to Humanities are in order to train student's creative thinking; Established the Association For Students’ Advertisement and Law Study Society is in order to raise students’ special skills.
